Coming In Hot runs this site and looks after the information on it. Coming In Hot is owned by Wally Media Inc.

The merch store at cihmerch.com is run by Wally Media Inc.

We follow Canada's privacy law for businesses (PIPEDA), and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) for our emails.

• Your account. If you make an account, we keep your email, the name you pick and, if you add one, your photo.
• New fan accounts are approved by the crew before they can comment or send photos.
• Crew and writer accounts also keep the bio, photo and links shown on their writer page.
• Passwords are stored scrambled, so nobody at Coming In Hot can read them.
• Players you follow. Signed in, the list is kept with your account. Signed out, it stays in your browser only.
• Comments. We keep what you wrote, when, and which account wrote it. The crew moderates comments, and your name and photo show next to a published comment for everyone to see.
• Photos you send. We keep the photo and which account sent it, with location and camera details removed from the file. The crew reviews every photo, and an approved photo shows in a gallery with your display name.
• The email list. If you sign up, we keep your email, the exact words you agreed to, when, and the page you signed up on.
• Emails you send us. We keep them so we can answer.

We use this only to run the site, show your comments and photos, and send the emails you asked for.

We do not sell your information.

The site counts visits with its own counter.

It sets no cookies and keeps no IP addresses.

It records the page, the site that sent you, the kind of device, and how far and how long you read.

Visitors are told apart with a code that changes every day, so a visit cannot be traced back to you.

The visit log is deleted after 90 days, leaving only daily totals.

Sponsors only ever see totals.

The site uses a few small cookies only to make it work, like keeping you signed in.

Your browser also remembers your cart and a few settings, like game-day sound. That stays on your device.

The site has spaces for Google ads, but they are switched off. If they are switched on, a banner asks you first.

• The shop. Products and prices come from our Shopify store. Checkout happens on cihmerch.com, under Shopify's own privacy terms.
• YouTube. Videos play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which loads only when you press play. Until then, only the picture comes from YouTube.
• X and Facebook. A post from X or Facebook inside a story loads from that company when you scroll to it, and its own privacy rules apply.
• The companies that run the site for us host it, store its data and send its emails. They use your information only for that. Some of them keep it outside Canada, including in the United States.

• Your account, until you ask us to delete it.
• A comment, until you or the crew delete it. A deleted comment is hidden right away; ask us and we remove it for good.
• A photo you send, until you or the crew remove it.
• The email list, until you unsubscribe. We keep a note that you left, so you are not emailed again.
• The visit log, 90 days.

• Change your name and photo any time on your profile page.
• To see what we hold about you, fix it, or delete your account, email CIHsens@gmail.com from the address on your account.
• We answer within 30 days.
• You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or email us and we take you off the list.
• Not happy with our answer? You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (opens in a new tab).

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
