Sponsorship disclosure
Ads and sponsors help pay the writers. Here is how they appear on the site, how they are labelled, and who they are.
How partners are labelled
- Ads sit in fixed spaces labelled “Advertisement”.
- Partner spots are labelled “Partner” or “Presented by” with the partner's name.
- Links to partners are marked as sponsored links for search engines.
- Partners do not see or approve stories before they are published.

Merch and links
Shop links go to cihmerch.com, the Coming In Hot store run by Wally Media Inc., and checkout happens there. This site has no affiliate links.
Visitor counts
The site counts visits with its own counter, which sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. Visitors are told apart with a code that changes every day, and the raw visit log is deleted after 90 days, leaving only daily totals. Those totals show what readers like and are the basis for sponsor reports.
