I LIKE YOUR PROSPECTS | w/ Shean Donovan

About this episode

The Ottawa Senators wrapped up the NHL Prospect Challenge over the weekend, and there was plenty to like from the Sens youngsters.

Jaxon Cover made an immediate impression, while Kasper Halttunen, Eskild Bakke Olsen, Blake Montgomery and others gave Sens fans a glimpse of what could be coming down the pipeline.

Former Senators Director of Player Development Shean Donovan joins the show to break down the rookie tournament and discuss what teams are actually looking for at these events. How much should we read into a strong weekend? Who helped themselves? And what are the expectations for these prospects as they make the jump from rookie camp to Senators training camp?

Plus, we look back at the biggest performances from the weekend and which prospects have given themselves a chance to keep turning heads when main camp opens.
