THOMAS CHABOT NAMED CAPTAIN.

About this episode

We finally have the answer as the Ottawa Senators have named Thomas Chabot the 11th captain in franchise history. The longest-tenured Senator has been with the organization for more than a decade and now gets the “C” as Ottawa enters a new era.

Wally, Yorkie and Graeme break down the decision: Why Chabot? Why now? Was he the obvious choice? And what does his leadership style look like with this group?

Chabot will be supported by alternate captains Claude Giroux, Jake Sanderson and Tim Stützle.

We’ll also get you caught up on the latest from Sens practice, the injury situation and everything else happening as Ottawa gets ready to open the regular season Saturday night in Toronto.
