Chabot out 1-2 weeks
Sens' captain sidelined with an upper body injury

The Ottawa Senators will be without captain Thomas Chabot for the next one to two weeks after the defenceman suffered an upper-body injury on Saturday in Philadelphia
Head coach Travis Green confirmed the timeline Monday after Chabot was unable to finish Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Green said the injury may have occurred during Ottawa's previous game against the New York Islanders. Chabot attempted to play through the discomfort before leaving Saturday's contest after two periods.
The 30-year-old Chabot has been carrying a bulk of the workload without Jake Sanderson in the lineup this season averaging over 25 minutes per game recording 1 goal and 4 points in 9 games.
However, help is on the way for Ottawa in that Jake Sanderson is expected to return Wednesday against the Florida Panthers after missing eight consecutive games with a lower-body injury.
Chabot's absence is another setback for a Senators blue line that has already been hit hard by injuries early this season. The Sens have used a league high 10 defencemen already this season.
